Homebase set us the challenge of designing, value engineering, manufacturing and delivering an attractive, easy-to-use display unit for handles and hooks of all shapes and sizes.
The main issues were logistical, as the unit had to be rolled out to all UK Homebase stores within a tight lead-time. The project was also extremely complex from a technical point of view, because 140,000 hooks and handles had to be accommodated within the unit - each one hand picked and positioned according to a specific plan-o-gram and footage.
Our highly skilled and experienced design and operations team cost-effectively solved these problems, in what was the largest range review undertaken by Homebase during 2006.
